The Honda Accord is available in four trim levels, or six if you include the Hybrid configurations. Your 2022 Honda Accord MPG ratings will differ slightly based on which trim level you choose. Nevertheless, you can expect a powerful performance and peak fuel optimization on whichever model you pick. The 2022 Honda Accord fuel economy ratings are as follows:

  • Honda Accord LX: 30 MPG city/38 MPG highway*
  • Honda Accord Sport: 29 MPG city/35 MPG highway*
  • Honda Accord Sport Special Edition: 29 MPG city/35 MPG highway*

  • Honda Accord Hybrid Sport: 44 MPG city/41 MPG highway*

2022 Honda Accord Performance Specs & Features

Two powerful engine options are responsible for the new Honda Accord fuel economy ratings. Columbia drivers can either choose between a standard 1.5L 4-cylinder engine or upgrade to a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine on the Honda Accord Sport trim level. The 1.5L 4-cylinder engine delivers 192 hp @ 5500 RPM and the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine delivers 252 hp @ 6500 RPM.

The cutting-edge Eco Assist System also helps you get the most out of your Honda Accord fuel economy in two major ways:

  • The Eco Assist System can be had with an available ECON button, which you can push to change the Accord’s performance profile to favor fuel conservation.
  • The system tells you how fuel-efficient your driving habits are via a color-changing display around the speedometer. If the display is green, your driving habits are efficient; if it’s blue, you’re probably wasting fuel.
