Equal Parts Tough and Smart

The athletic Ridgeline combines the functionality of a truck with upscale amenities both inside and out. Reimagined for the 2020 model year, Honda has taken the traditional truck bed to a whole new level by offering multiple storage and access options. Ridgeline is the only pickup with a lockable In-Bed Trunk® to keep your cargo secure and dry, as well as a dual-action tailgate, which means fewer out-of-reach items. With available innovations in stability, traction, handling, and accessibility, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline can navigate rain-soaked dirt or snowy mountain passes more easily, taking you places you've never been before.

Ridgeline dominates the road with a 280-horsepower V-6 engine, and models equipped with available all-wheel drive feature a best-in-class payload of 1,580 pounds and a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds. Not only does Ridgeline's i-VTM4™ AWD System allow for maximum performance on dry pavement, but it also increases stability during inclement weather conditions.

The i-VTM4™ AWD System provides a highly sophisticated level of performance thanks to a pair of electro-hydraulically actuated clutch packs, one to drive each rear wheel. The clutches can be engaged separately, allowing variable amounts of torque to be sent to each rear wheel independently, responding precisely to traction needs at the rear wheels to enhance stability and propulsion on ice and snow. The outdoors can be unpredictable, especially when you’re up against the elements. But with an AWD system and Intelligent Traction Management, the 2020 Ridgeline is equal parts tough and smart.

Other standard, confidence-inspiring equipment includes a fully independent front and rear suspension to smooth out uneven terrain; Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) to lend a helping hand while accelerating on loose or slippery road surfaces; and the Honda Sensing® suite of safety features and driver-assistive technologies to help increase awareness and prevent collisions. With seating for five, industry-first innovation, and a state-of-the-art AWD system, the 2020 Honda Ridgeline is thoughtfully crafted to provide a unique, modern truck experience.

Show Winter Who's in Charge

Redesigned for the 2020 model year, CR-V is exciting drivers with a new look, next-level technology, and the same, impressive performance that has made it the decade's best-selling crossover*. The 2020 Honda CR-V now packs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine on every trim that generates up to 190 horsepower* and 179 lb-ft of torque*. But perhaps the most attractive aspect of the all-new CR-V is the available Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™.

CR-V's all-wheel drive system has been pushed to the limit in America's most severe weather conditions and harshest terrain, whether it was testing off-road capabilities in the Mojave Desert or navigating snow-packed driving courses in Baudette, Minnesota.

As was previously mentioned, CR-V's all-wheel drive has been especially refined to provide control in snowy/icy conditions, but how does it work? The AWD system activates electronically, responding in real time to loss-of-traction scenarios by intuitively directing power to the rear wheels, as needed. This not only enhances vehicle stability during adverse weather and challenging terrain, but it also makes CR-V more responsive while climbing hills, taking corners, and accelerating.

Opting for the available Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ doesn't translate to lower fuel economy ratings either. Thanks to standard equipment like a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and the Eco Assist™ System, the 2020 Honda CR-V AWD model still makes an EPA-estimated 27 mpg city and 32 mpg highway*. Pushing through inclement weather and unforgiving winters just got a whole lot easier (and economical) behind the wheel of the newly redesigned Honda CR-V where substance and style have become one and the same.

Real Time Assistance

In an already overpopulated segment, Honda continues to build SUVs that stand out from the crowd, and the all-new CR-V Hybrid may just be the benchmark for how future hybrid SUVs will be judged. America’s best-selling CUV over the past 22 years has returned for the 2020 model year with a first-ever hybrid powertrain and standard all-wheel drive (AWD) on every trim.

This new iteration of Honda's legendary crossover is a true hybrid, reaching EPA-estimated mileage ratings of 40 city / 35 highway / 38 combined*, while also refusing to turn its back on its SUV roots. With 212 total system horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque, 68.7 cu-ft of maximum cargo space, Honda Sensing® safety technologies, and the aforementioned Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System standard equipped on all CR-V Hybrid models, there is absolutely no compromise to be found.

Unlike other hybrid SUVs such as the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid—which uses a modified version of its all-wheel drive system—the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid features the same, responsive AWD System that can be found in the gasoline-powered version. The AWD system is electronically activated, enabling the CR-V Hybrid to send power to the rear wheels in a proactive manner, offering real time assistance during acceleration and steep inclines. Furthermore, this AWD system has been fine tuned for winter weather conditions, reacting much more quickly to slick roads and uneven terrain.

Inside the CR-V Hybrid, drivers will find steering wheel-mounted deceleration selectors which allow for multiple levels of regenerative braking, recovering energy and storing the converted power until needed. The 3-mode driving system lets you customize your drive, switching from an efficiency-promoting ECON setting to EV mode (fully electric) with the push of a button. For responsive acceleration and a faster feel, the Sport driving mode truly delivers with a more aggressive throttle mapping.

The 2020 CR-V Hybrid is perhaps the most exciting addition to Honda's all-wheel drive lineup since the return of the Passport. The surprising horsepower, surefooted drivetrain, and stingy fuel consumption of this new hybrid SUV will undoubtedly continue CR-V's legacy as one of the best family SUVs on the road.

Giving Drivers the Upper Hand

With its small stature and sleek styling you might not expect the 2020 HR-V to be suited for snow-filled roadways, but the available Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ can make short work of winter woes. And rest assure, this added peace of mind doesn't come at the cost of your fuel economy, as the 2020 HR-V LX all-wheel drive model still achieves an EPA-estimated 27 mpg city and 31 mpg highway*.

Highly responsive and electronically activated, HR-V's Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ proactively distributes torque to the rear wheels while accelerating and climbing hills. Additionally, the AWD system reacts much more quickly during times of lost traction due to adverse road conditions or uncertain terrain for increased driver confidence.

The entire Honda SUV lineup, including HR-V, was pushed to the limit at the Automotive Enviro Testing (AET) facility in Baudette, Minnesota–home to some of the harshest winter weather in the United States. HR-V's handling was put to the ultimate test over three autocross courses, each with different configurations of demanding turns and packed snow, specifically designed to test AWD vehicles.

But Honda's commitment to performance doesn't stop there. Every 2020 HR-V comes standard equipped with hill start assist and Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with Traction Control*, which uses a variety of sensors to monitor conditions and will actually intervene to help reduce the possibility of skidding, plowing, and other loss-of-traction events. From its 2nd-Row Magic Seat® to available Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™, the 2020 Honda HR-V will give drivers the upper hand when it comes to life's daily challenges.

Performance-Enhancing Technology

Most drivers are well aware of Pilot's reputation as the modern family SUV, and Honda's 2020 installment is living up to its title. With 280 horsepower under the hood, three rows of seating for up to eight passengers, and 83.9 cubic feet of maximum cargo area, even the most stressful road trip is reduced to a walk (or drive) in the park.

But how does the 2020 Honda Pilot react during adverse weather conditions or challenging terrain? Thanks to the Intelligent Variable Torque Management™ (i-VTM4®) AWD System, available on any Pilot trim, your peace of mind will never waiver. This proactive all-wheel drive system employs adaptable front-to-rear distribution of engine torque which directs power to those wheels with traction. Each rear wheel is equipped with electro-hydraulically actuated clutch packs, allowing variable amounts of torque to be sent to each rear wheel independently. Bottom line: once the snow starts to fly, this AWD system will increase stability and propulsion with more precise traction from the rear wheels.

The 2020 Pilot doubles down on performance-enhancing technology with the addition of Intelligent Traction Management, an available push-button system that features four driving modes for snow, mud, sand, and normal road conditions. Now, factor in standard-equipped hill start assist and Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with Traction Control for good measure, and it’s clear that Pilot will keep you in control no matter what the situation.

How could Honda make this SUV any safer? Every 2020 Pilot comes standard with Honda Sensing®, a suite of driver-assistive technologies and safety features that includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, and Collision Mitigation Braking. It’s strong and sturdy, it’s safe, it’s spacious, and it’s waiting for your test drive at any Honda of Columbia location today.

Ready for Your Next Adventure

Passport was a huge part of the SUV resurgence in the 1990s and last year's return brought some much-needed utility back to the midsize SUV segment. The 2020 Honda Passport could be dubbed the Pilot that likes to play in the dirt. Although both SUVs pack a 3.5-liter V-6 engine capable of 280 horsepower* and 262 lb-ft of torque*, Passport’s dimensions are more favorable when it comes to off-road fun. Its shorter length gives it a better approach angle while its higher ground clearance enhances departure and breakover angles.

Additionally, Passport’s AWD system is paired with Intelligent Traction Management for extra grip at the push of a button. Thanks to the Drive-by-Wire throttle, this technology puts four different driving modes at your fingertips, including Normal, Sand, Mud, and Snow, depending on the terrain. On the “Snow” setting, Intelligent Traction Management will actually start your Passport in second gear and send more power to the rear axle, similar to a rear locking differential.

Passport continues to impress when the time comes to load up your gear. If you’re pulling a toy, the 2020 Passport with all-wheel drive has a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds. If you require a generous amount of cargo area, the One-Touch Fold-Down 60/40 Split Rear Seatback provides over 100 cubic feet. If you need even more space, your Passport can be equipped with roof rails and a roof top basket for an additional 150 pounds of storage capacity. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, part-time explorer, city slicker, or all of the above, the 2020 Honda Passport is ready for your next adventure.
